My Pick of the Week Hancock Park 434 N Mansfield
This was my favorite house on caravan! VERY masculine but I loved it! Listed at $5750000 (less than $800 a sq ft is actually really good around here) and it is 7481 sq ft on a 7426 size lot – 7 bedrooms and 9 baths.
My favorite feature was the metal windows! Below was a neat window that separated the kitchen & dining. I like that you can view each room, but they are still separate. The home had a cool NY feel.
And, do you know what this is below? Basically a Lazy Susan for your car!
From the MLS: The William Hefner-designed residence fuses the classic elegance of the 1920’s w/ smart home technology & the attention to detail for which the architect is known. Hefner balanced the scale of the home with a timeless façade of brick, limestone & metal windows. An interior courtyard provides light & views of the central areas for the first and second floors. The light-filled living room, dining room & family room connect to the outdoors via sliders & pocket doors. The kitchen offers a Sub-Zero refrigerator, three Wolf ovens, Miele appliances, butler’s pantry & catering kitchen. The basement level boasts 2 offices, guest rooms, gym and a 4-car subterranean parking garage with automotive turntable. Upstairs, there are five bedroom suites, including a spacious master suite w/fireplace, balcony and marble-lined bath. Other touches include an elevator, generator & home automation system by Lutron. Countesy of Coldwell Banker.
The wood floors were gorgeous!
This room above was my least favorite because of the lighting and wood color
Kind of hotel-ish, eh? Let me know if you would like to see it?
