Paul Williams was African American and born in LA in 1894 and a graduate of USC. He was a student of the Beaux-Arts Institute of design in NY. He designed over 3000 buildings up until 1971. He was a master of architectural style including the Hollywood Regency, Spanish Colonial Revival, causual CA Ranch and the English Tudor.
